London 2012 gave Britain a once in a lifetime opportunity to inspire a nation to enjoy sport and the government wants to embed that into the school day from an early age. The new sports funding aims to improve the quality of provision in every state primary school in England.
At Flitwick Lower we have used the funding to enhance the quality and provision of P.E. This includes funding additional clubs and purchasing equipment to assist high quality provison.
We are part of the Redborne Sports Partnership which provides additonal support for staff as well as hosting numerous sporting festivals for the children to attend throughout the year.
